Candidates must be high-school seniors or graduates, fall into one of the eligibility categories in the directive, and meet the country-by-country diploma or exam thresholds set out in its Annex-1. Applications are submitted electronically through the university's own portal with passport, diploma and transcript; the International Relations department evaluates them, issues a conditional acceptance letter, and then an unconditional acceptance letter once the deposit is paid. The directive states that meeting the application requirements does not guarantee admission, and that applicants are ranked by graduation grade average when applications exceed the quota.
Be enrolled in the final year of high school (or equivalent) or be a high-school graduate, and meet the qualifications in Annex-1 of the directive
Eligible categories include foreign nationals; those who were Turkish citizens by birth but obtained Ministry of Interior permission to renounce citizenship; those who acquired Turkish citizenship while being foreign or dual nationals (except those Turkish by birth); those who completed high school abroad excluding the TRNC under the dated rules in the directive; and TRNC residents who completed high school there and hold a GCE AL certificate

Step-by-step apply guide lists for the online upload: a valid international passport, high-school diploma or graduation certificate in English/Turkish, and the high-school transcript for all years in English/Turkish

A deposit payment is required to convert the conditional acceptance letter into an unconditional acceptance letter; the step-by-step guide states the deposit is deducted from the first year's tuition and is non-refundable except that part may be refunded on visa refusal
